Protection of my Flag Pole Solar Lights
Saw a review on the YouTube channel on how to protect the solar cell on the top of my flag poles lights, thus extending their life and improved ease of cleaning of dirt and grime from the atmosphere. This clear UV protective clear coat paint, from Rust Oleum worked as suggested. One can will last for extended and repeated use.

Boat use to prevent wear of rocker lettering
I have boat with Rocker switches, and MERCURY key area where white lettering wore off or sun faded, bought new rockers and new key area white labeled pieces. ( that key area just being BLACK Plastic was $88 ....WOW ) decided to use this spray to provide a protective cover and barrier on rocker switches and Key area. So far worked great, dries clear, apply very light coats. If you do heavy coats it gets these MICRO bubbles in it while drying. Overall very happy with how it adhered to the plastic and dried clear and shiny. ( NOTE also has UV protection which is a plus against fading ) Time and use will tell how this holds up. Does come in Matte, But I wanted high Gloss

Good for coating plastic headlights in last stages of restoration.
Others complain about it being dull/bad colored etc.It worked great for me. I used it to coat my headlights after sanding them to get the dullness out. If you spray on thick or immediately after shaking maybe sometimes it will at first look dull, but it cures clear/mostly clear and then polishing it with Plastix makes it crystal clear.Step 1) 400-600 gritStep 2) 2000 grit (and don't polish yet or the spray wont stick as well). Note: they will still look pretty dull at this point.Step 3) spray this on and do a few coats. Light coats. You will see the lights become clear as the liquid fills the sanded ridges.Step 4) Polish the orange peel off of the clearcoat after letting it dry (24 hours probably best). I used the polish and drill attachment included in the 3m headlight kit. Plastix would also probably be good. After 1 month it still looks good, and I assume it should last a long time, but time will tell.

Long drying time
I sealed this statue after paying it with acrylic paint and the drying time on, it was very long. It took several days to really set everything now that it’s set. It’s perfect.

Use clear gloss for a headlamp topcoat
I purchased and used gloss clear to use as a finish coat on some headlights that would always yellow no matter what.Previously I used a SPAR urethane brush on coating: the brush urethane was much easier to apply with amazing initial results. The urethane however didnt hold up well and was looking noticable worse after only one month. This product, the clear gloss was hard to apply for 2 reasons, you need to tape off the area, and getting enough even coats was more challenging. The results I ended up were a little worse mostly because I had some orange peel which is my own operator error. The finish has been on for a year now and while it has aged a little, it is by far the best product I have used. I can see this lasting a few more years even.
