I was not expecting these ferrules to arrive in such high quality. Excellent for rakes and hoes.

Worked well, be sure to measure your wood handle, I had to cut mine down to fit.

The product was okay. I just need for a smaller handle.

So far, I have installed two out of three of these. They wedge hoe and rake ends into their handles securely, unlike the flimsy (and even plastic) ones I replaced. I expect I'll be able to get decades more use out of each, or at least as many years it takes before the handles decay. We are definitely tool rich and handle poor around here.I need to keep an eye out for similar connectors sized for smaller diameter handles. The opening of these connectors is quite a bit larger than the handle for our hoe, for example, but it does the job. I'd like to add a plug or spacer to keep the gap from filling with dirt and moisture. In a perfect world, I would love for these to come in an assortment with spacers or smaller diameter connectors included, or bundled with appropriately-sized handles with holes for hoes and rakes. This three-pack is a great start, though.

Works great to replace worn out old parts on my garden rake and hoe. The piece has a great weld down the seam and the powder coat will help keep this new one in great shape for a good long time.
