I ran the risk of this not working when I ordered it because I knew that I had an old motor. Some of the components were just too small for what I needed. Overall, the kit itself was nice and would be a good option for some people. The kits are individually bagged which makes it easier to use and store for later.

This kit is a joke. Nothing was usable to rebuild my carburetors. I put them back together with used parts and my boat is sitting because I don’t want to put them back on. I didn’t make it in time to return them so another waste of money, courtesy of Amazon prime. I shouldn’t have to drive to drop off every junk item that Amazon delivers. The reason I pay for prime is for convenience and to get items quickly and half the time items don’t even arrive when they do it’s a 50-50 shot whether it will be usable and then I have to take time out of my life to drive 15 miles to drop them off for a refund, I complained about this several times. I actually had a retention coupon show up out of the blue, which was a nice gesture, but of course it disappeared and I never even got to use that. I started a customer service chat about the coupon and was told I would get a new one but you can probably already guess how that turned out. Are used to rave about Amazon prime, and how much easier it made life and now it’s nothing more than an aggravation. I actually hope that this issue is happening to more people because at least in my situation, it has resulted in me, spending more money at local brick and mortar stores which is a good thing.I realize this does not all pertain to this particular item but conveniently there’s no other way to voice, my aggravationsNonetheless, regarding these rebuild kits, even the parts that looked like they should go to my carburetors, did not fit well, or at all. Example, the mixture screws screwed in as if they were cross, threading and the ends of them were deformed. Of course, my old bowl gaskets were destroyed when disassembling the carburetors and even the new bowl gaskets were unacceptable. I did use them to put the curbs back together because I had no choice, but the screw holes were slightly out of position which caused the gasket to stretch and the buckle slightly in certain areas. Anyone who knows about gaskets knows this is not a good thing. The needles were too short, so obviously those could not be used. As you can imagine the cost of these kits is nothing compared to the time and effort in tearing my motor apart and now having it sit waiting and probably corroding, collecting critters, or who knows what.

Very well made. Everything was delivered in separate bags making this so much easier to use. Fit perfectly and worked great. Highly recommend.

Ordered this for a 100 hp 2 cycle Mercury 4 cyl outboard. Per the Mercury Outboard oem parts diagram the part number for the rebuild kit is 1395-823635 which is superseded to 1395-823634 which is the part number listed for this item. The needle for the fuel inlet was almost 1/8 inch shorter than the the original and would not shut off the fuel flow into the carburetor. The adjustment on the float could not be adjusted far enough to compensate for the shorter length to work properly. The pins provided for the float pivot were too large and could not be used.

Junk do not buy not even close to the OEM
