I bought this pillow pad in March of 2024. I have cervical spine issues including right formable stenosis. My pain is severe. This pillow pad along with pain blockers and muscle relaxers helped me to sleep. Last night the pillow pad started leaking. I have no alternative except to try to purchase another. There does not seem to be a way to patch the leak even though there is apparently a pin hole leak. Because the water is under the pressure of a pump, my bed and pillow were soaked quickly. I am living on social security only and can t afford to buy one per year without help from health insurance. This pillow pad is not covered. Pillows do not accommodate the stiff pad easily. If the pad is placed inside the pillow case then cooling is insured. If the pad is placed under the pillow the pillow will not conduct cooking. It must be placed in contact with skin or, at most under a pillow case only.
