Start with delivery - not a highlight. The courier took almost 7 days to deliver it and wouldn't take it further in the house than our hallway. I don't believe that delivery should detract from a product score though.The mattress itself is surprisingly heavy and we'll made for the price, it makes you wonder what the difference is when you pay 2-3x this amount.The mattress is natural materials throughout according to the manufacturers website and the label on the mattress itself. This was important because I have a memory foam allergy and needed to avoid foam in the mattress which this one does.Comfort wise? My wife and I think it's fantastically comfortable because we like a firmer bed. However I would go as far as to say this is a very hard mattress so please take this into account when purchasing.We are pleased with the purchase as it ticked all our boxes at a good price.

I always get nervous when I am buying a big item (like a mattress) online, and haven't had the opportunity to see it or test how comfortable it is. However, I was not disappointed. Delivery was quick and it's a great price, much more competitive than other retailers.The most important thing is this mattress is so comfortable. It is cool (I got rid of my memory foam mattress because it was too warm) and it is the perfect level of firmness- it is quite firm which is what I was after. Highly recommended

I bought this as a durable base on which to put a decent topper to make up my own customised hybrid mattress. Having owned two memory foam mattresses prior, both of which had sagged, I was wary of spending a lot of money on a individual hybrid in case one layer failed then the whole thing would need to be replaced. I decided to buy each layer separately so I could replace each one if necessary.Of the three layers I eventually bought, this mattress would be the last to sag as it seems very firm and durable.I bought the mattress from Amazon directly at a great price. Delivery was by Arrow XL and was disappointing - it was delivered on a wet day and they made no effort to keep the packaging clean (it was filthy). Sadly there were holes in the packaging and dirty marks were on the mattress when I unpacked it. Not bad enough to return but just a bit annoying.The mattress is deep and definitely the heaviest mattress I've ever owned - you get a lot of mattress for the money. However the finishing is disappointing, there are loose threads and poor stitching in places. Again not bad enough to return and probably a reflection of the price.As with many (if not all) pocket sprung mattresses it's bumpy as a result of the tufting (these are the end of the clamps holding the springs together if I understand it right). If you look at all pocket sprung mattresses they all have these and seemingly the more expensive ones seem to have the deeper bumps so this may have something to do with the higher spring count. This mattress is as bumpy as those and when I slept on it without a topper I could feel the bumps - although surprisingly they weren't uncomfortable. And with a topper they weren't noticeable at all.So to the toppers (if you are interested). I firstly added an Eve topper as the comfort layer. This was a nice combination but I have since added a latex topper (Latexsense luxury 50) as the middle layer and have in my opinion come up with the perfect bed. It's a lovely mixture of firm support from this mattress, bounce and cushioning from the latex and cool softness from the Eve on top.All in, this has still cost me far less than an equivalent mattress with all of these layers included. So I'm very happy, and sleeping very well too. My back pains caused by the sagging memory foam mattresses have also gone.This mattress is an excellent, firm base and offered at a good price at the time of writing (just over £200). I'm not sure I could sleep on it without a topper but if you want a firm mattress then this is a great choice.

After 1 and a half years on this mattress I can give an objective opinion.it's not a hard mattress as described. Not at all in fact. When you sit on it, you literally fall into it. Sitting against the headboard also. Which is not pleasant if youwant to watch a movie, for example. But to firm for sleeping. i think materials inside as just too firm.My previous mattress was a pocket spring and memory foam and I regret it terribly. I could sit confortabely on it without sinking.When you sleep next to someone unfortunately if that person is a little heavier, you fall into "his creue" which is very uncomfortable.The exterior of the mattress is made of very good quality the material is very pleasant to the touch but that’s it….You really have to return it every 6 weeks otherwise back pain . My husband complains of lower back pain sometimes.After 3 years I have back pain too.unfortunately the guarantee is only 1 year on Amazon, don't get fooled like that. This mattress is too hard to sleep on but at the same time so soft because it is unstable.

A bit firm to begin with but ok after a few days. Very comfortable. Very high. Keeps the dogs off!! Really good purchase.

Bought on behalf of a friend. The mattress is described as orthopaedic firm, but my friend classes it as hard, bordering on uncomfortable. The edges , however, are very soft and has lead to my friend slipping out of bed twice.
