I chose charcoal and it looks great. It looks bluish up very close but only up very close with light on. Nice that it comes with tape and matching rug. The tape was hard for me to use so I didn't use it correctly, just cut long strips and folded them over, hope vacuum doesn't pull them up but tape felt strong. One of my cats is mad, she doesn't like it, but the other one is OK! Happy with purchase. Photo uploaded sideways, don't know how to fix that as it's correct on my phone.Update 9/14/2023, these lasted a long time and would still be good if contractors didn't try cleaning them by brushing them real hard with hard bristle brush. I did find hard to vacuum dirt/hair out of the pattern, used a hand-held vacuum. Going to try different ones this time but still like these. The mat that t comes with them didn't last long because I threw it in the washer a couple times.Update 9/22/23, when I removed the tape that came with the treads some of the laminate flooring came off with the tape leaving black spots where the laminate was so luckily my new treads cover the damage. The new ones have sticky backs so no tape needed.

Plopped these down on our new stairs, and they work great. They stay in place without any adhesive, and help the doggies get up/down the stairs.Cleaning them with vacuum gets the dog hair and other dirt off.

For what you pay you get a pretty decent set of stair treads. They are plenty soft for bare feet and plenty thick to absorb all the salt, slush and muck from my winter boots. They trim up nicely and are easily cut with a sturdy pair of scissors if you need to customize to your steps or doorway. The treds themselves have rubber backing so they will stay in place even if you don't want to tape them down making them easier to clean. The adhesive they provide to tape the treds down is very strong, your treds won't move an inch even in high traffic areas. All in all they do exactly what you need them to do and for the price point you can't beat it. I'm happy with this purchase and I'm confident you will be to. Hope this helped.

Superb! I bought these to lay down on three treads leading to my living room with the aim of helping my large breed dog to easily go up and down these steps. I was surprised by how well these treads stick to the hardwood. I did not even need to use the double-sided tape that came with the set (Thank you, awesome seller, for the tape!). My dog was able to run up and down the steps without issues whatsoever. These treads are great!Now, the flip side is that I've had to remove them and replace them with another, more colorful set from another manufacturer. I do not like the replacements we bought, if I'm honest, and wish that we could have kept these ones that I am reviewing. The reason is that my partner felt that these look a bit too industrial for our house (I bought the charcoal set). We both wanted more color, leaving me wishing that these came with various color options. Also, it sure would have been if I could have ordered less than a set of 13, as I only needed 3 (Sets of 5, 7, 10, etc., guys?). In any case, my rating of this product is completely off the charts because, as a product, these are truly fantastic. I wish I could have kept them on my steps, though. Color options would have been good.

We recently tore the carpet up on our stairs and replaced it with wood, not realizing this would make the dog's life harder. He fell down the stairs twice and then became really afraid of them. My husband wanted something that was easy to put down and pick up since we're considering putting our house on the market in the next few months. We use these stair treads without the adhesive that came with them and they work great! The dog has confidence when using the stairs again and without the adhesive, you can slap them down and then pick them back up really quickly! They slide a little without the adhesive but not enough for it to be a problem to either human or the 70lb dog in the household.

My grandfather recently fell on his stairs where the carpet was detached so we ripped up the old carpet, removed all of the staples and installed these on the wood steps. The double sided adhesion tape was very sticky and they came out beautiful looking. If the tape does not stay we will staple them but they were a perfect size. They are so happy with how they look!

Good fit

The carpet tape was very helpful keeping these in place. They look great inside in my wooden steps. I also installed them on the concrete steps in the garage and basement. The concrete is very smooth and I had slipped several times on them until I installed these. The only drawback to using them outside is that dirt and dust show a easily on the black color.
