I used mine as drop ceiling tiles. Very easy to put up, and the electrician had no issues cutting holes for the lights. Around the boarder there is a slight gap because of the 3D design(second picture, please don't judge original paint job I will be paininting over it) It's probably more noticeable to me as the installer than to people I'll have over.The only door in that area is for a storage room which doesn't get used often. But as some people have said, because of how lightweight these are, they do tend to lift a bit when that door is used but not to the point I need to readjust. I imagine if you used them as drop ceilings by a main outside door it might shift them out of place on windy days, and if you adheared it directly to a ceiling it probably wouldn't be an issue at at.Overall I'm very happy with them and would use these again for other room renovations.

Do not attempt to glue the tiles up unless you are an expert and using adhesives. I tried every glue listed in the reviews. They all failed. I tried to contact the company with no luck. I was very frustrated and ready to throw the whole thing out. Then I got my staple gun and that was the trick. You can’t see the staples. It’s beautiful.

I bought these for a mobile bar I’m building and it adds chic to the design, tiles are plastic but very strong. I got the large tiles and basically used 6 on the ceiling. I recommend!

Bought these hoping they would be more of a gold tone based on product description pictures but very orange. Reminds me of copper pots. Too bad there isn’t an actual gold color option. Will have to return. Had high hopes! Nice product though.

It is certainly not the easiest thing to cut with all the ribs and texture, but take your time and measurements and you get great results. I used liquid nails and 18 gauge finishing nails to secure it. The nails aren't noticeable on my high ceiling, but you might need something that sticks instantly if you have an 8-10 foot ceiling and don't want the nails to be spotted.
