Just the job

The multimeter is so easy to use, turn the dial to the correct setting and test, it's as simple as that.The tester is also small, which can be an advantage and a disadvantage, but makes it easy to take with you and so far has worked well.The only gripe is that there is no auto off, so if you forget to turn it off you will run the battery flat, so make sure to buy some batteries too.

I bought this to replace one of the same model that I've had for years. My main use is to test voltage on rechargeable NiH batteries used in my camera flashguns, but have used it in other ways.Very easy to use with the rotary dial, but don't leave it on overnight or walk away, or you will need to buy a new 12v MN21 to replace it inside - I've managed to do this at least twice :-)Very handy wrap around and fold away leads.One potential downside is that at full stretch the cable length is 29" (74cm, excluding probe sections) with the meter in the middle, but then again it isn't really the tool for checking house wiring between sockets etc :-)
