G&H 710SS 2 Gang Brushed Steel Surface Mounted Double 30mm Pattress Box

These are well-constructed surface mount boxes with a smart metallic finish. No complaints there. There is an internal earthing point to ensure that the metallic outer sleeve can be connected to the earthing of the double socket, as it should (for safety reasons). In the end, our plans changed so we didn't end up installing them, so cannot comment about the final longevity as we returned them unused, but no reason to think that they wouldn't look smart and last a long time. Price-wise, they are obviously more expensive than non-finished surface-mount boxes, but there isn't a great deal of choice in the market and in the context of what you might be spending to refresh (say) a kitchen - as in our case - it's small beer.

Got a few ugly white back boxes dotted around the house so bought one of these to see what they look like. They are built well, look great and well designed. Will be ordering more now to do the rest of the ones in the house. Only negative is they are fairly pricey.

Very good quality, lovely finish and looks best if the double plug from the same company. I had tried to get the plug from another company but i didnt like the quality or colour.The colour is exactly as pictured and finish.

Product appearance was fine (though it should be made clearer it's a standard plastic box with a thin metal outer sleeve, rather than all-metal); but there was corrosion on the inside of the sleeve - not acceptable when this is sold as a new product. I didn't return it as I'm on a tight builders' schedule, but would be wary of buying from this organisation again.
