RubiesChild's Graduation Robe

I purchased this robe to use as the base for making my daughter's wizard costume for Halloween. The robe is good quality. I asked a question about whether htv could be applied as the instructions state do not iron. I wanted to know how serious they were about that! Turns out pretty serious. However, I did it and it worked for me. Not flawlessly, but well enough. I would tell anyone wanting to add htv to be sure to put parchment paper in between the front and back where you're pressing- including the sleeves. The fabric melted to itself a little. I was able to pull it apart without ripping the fabric or causing holes, but that was from just good luck I think. My daughter loves her wizard robe and is ready for Halloween parties and trick-or-treating.🎃

Runs a little small, costume quality. Would have worked if my kid didn’t move in it (he’s a size 12)... I was convinced it would pop open or rip. It is as advertised though- was just hoping it would work. Returned it.

The quality of this item definitely reflects the price. The fabric is very thin and it has small Velcro closures at the top. It fit my average size 7 1/2 year old well and was suitable for what we needed it for (my son needed it to wear in a school play) HOWEVER when my son wore this for a short time (about 30 minutes) over his clothing during play rehearsal, the fabric transferred a rust colored dye all over his clothing underneath. Needless to say, his clothing, including a white button down dress shirt, was ruined. It's strange that a black garment would transfer a rust colored dye. And I was shocked that it happened after such a short time. My son was not hot or sweating in the garment but you could tell that where it rubbed against his clothing more, the staining was darker. Unfortunately, we were unable to use it as planned after it stained his clothes during rehearsal...I did not want to ruin any more clothing. I would explore other options before choosing this product.

We ordered this robe for a kindergarten graduation and it worked out perfectly. BE AWARE this listing only includes the robe, not the cap as well so photo is a bit misleading.For those asking the length, it is 36 inches! (3 ft exactly)The material is nice and thick but a little bit stiff, totally workable if you steam it just a little 👌🏼Overall, very nice for what you’re paying! I would repurchase if I needed another.

Sleeves run small. My daughter is 8 and just barely fit. She is on the petite side. It does not come with cap. The front has 3 Velcros in the front, not sure how secure they will be when being used.

Fit my 8 year old perfectly. No hat, as in the photo, just the robe.

My son used this as a costume in a play and it worked well.
