Terrible
This was terrible. I wanted to return it! I threw it away! I make kimchi, a lot! I also ferment so many different things. There is no extra lid/burping option. Nothing to push it down with, or burp it. Tbh, a jar is what I am using, as it works so much better for the smell, burping and keep it pushed down in is way easier!

Nice container for dry foods, but I prefer glass for fermentation
This is a nice container for storing any dry foods under a sealed lid. But the container itself is pretty basic and I’d expect something more for the price. Also, while it claims to have certifications making it suitable for fermentation, as a rule of thumb I don’t use any plastic vessel for storing highly acidic foods for extended periods. Glass and ceramic just give me peace of mind that nothing is leaching into my food. Plus similarly sized glass containers aren’t much more than this one. Overall, I can recommend this container if you catch it on sale.

fantastic bin for fermentation
This bin is great for fermentation. It keeps all the unpleasant odors sealed in and it is almost impossible to smell what is inside. It is a perfect size to keep on the countertop. The materials are sturdy, and the entire container is built well. Overall, this is a great fermentation container and I recommend it!

A nice lidded box but ignore the description.
This definitely is a good sized, lidded box, and can definitely be used for fermenting foods. It is not, however double lidded as the ad states. It's just the box and a single outer lid. And that's absolutely fine, but the item description can be misleading. In this instance trust the product photos rather than the written description.Currently I have a batch of sauerkraut working in it and as long as I'm checking it a couple of times a day it's doing the job it's advertised for.Just don't expect the inner lid to be there.Personally I wouldn't pay the asking price.

Perfect for kimchi storage with no leaking smell
I don't make kimchi very often but when I do I don't want the smell of it to linger in my fridge and smell overpowering but this box keeps all the smells contained and allows my kimchi to ferment properly.

Not sure what's so special about this
It's basically just a black tupperware container with a locking lid. There's no vents or anything so I wouldn't use it for fermentation or pickling. I also would question if it's really good safe or not. Very disappointing given the advertised features and uses.
