Versatile and good to use
Charcoal is a wonderful but sometimes difficult and temperamental medium to use. These pencils sidestep lot lot of the potential difficulties. There is a clearly defined range of hard to soft, the differing colours make it versatile, they are of a good quality. They're better sharpened with a knife, and come with a flat end, as many artists pencils do. But if sharpened as pictured they retain their strength and don't break, as willow charcoal so often does, and they last well. There's minimal dust and mess. Versatile and good to use.

Good quality charcoal pencil set.
I purchased this set for my art study with the charcoal medium. I also purchased the graphite pencil set from this brand to complement. I tried the charcoal pencils for my first project on fine grain paper, the pencils worked very well and the texture of the pencil is smooth, just what I wanted! The price for the set is reasonable, not the cheapest or too expensive either. Happy with my purchase.

Shocking quality
These pencils do not sharpen. The leds are all broken and such bad quality. I got one use out of these pencils, waste of money when I should have paid a bit more for pencils I can use more than once.
