Purchased for niece for Christmas. She loved them. So easy to use.

I was disappointed they didn't work on my daughter's light brown hair.we followed the instructions & We tried each of the colors but you could barely see anything. And within an hour it was like we hadn't even put anything in her hair.My niece has medium blonde hair & you could see the pink, purple & blue but again within 30-40 mins you couldnt tell the hair chalk had ever been there.

Bought for my niece as I just could not afford to pay for another hair dying appt for her. Easy to apply colors are vibrant and look as good as expensive salon colors. However you can change it up daily. It does wash out when you wash you hair. For the price, I bought more so she can continue to color her hair on her own. Not messy at all.

Read the reviews, they are small, very small. I read them. I knew they were and purchased anyway as a gift. So I don't know how well they work only that the reviews are correct. They are small... tiny small. Good stocking stuffer size.

Doesn't work on dark hair at all. I have medium brown hair and you couldn't see any of the colors in it, even the bright ones. It ended up just making my hair really gross and any time I brushed my fingers through my hair throughout the night, the color would come off on my hands even though you couldn't see it in my hair. Also took forever to wash out and have the water run clear. Maybe it would be better for light hair, but for anything past a light or platinum blonde, I would not recommend.

Packaging is very generic/2000s. Thought this was going to be chalk as the name says but its very gooey wax. The comb portion really doesn't work well in action so I had to take the wax bar out and just rub it in the hair. Glad they provided gloves. Colors are pigmented well on some. But leave your hair a clumped greasy mess. Stick to colored hair spray!

I have 6 granddaughters and they all loved the hair chalk set. Even their mom got in on the act and put some in her hair. I would recommend this set as a fun gift idea. It does need to be washed out of the hair. Colors are bright and fun.

I got the chalk combs for my granddaughter and she loved them! It was a great gift for her! They are easy to use and you can do different color combos! They wash out easy as well! They also come with gloves a cape to protect your clothes and a little placemat!
