Good for camping
I've used this 5 times now over a month. Heats a small (2gal) bucket of water in about 20-30 minutes that is plenty warm enough to shower with even adding another bucket of cold to mix. Depends a little on how cold the water you start with is. I usually fill the bucket and let it sit for a while before heating because the well water is very cold straight from the tap.Only con for me is the little piece that holds it above the water since i'm not using it on a cup. The slightest movement of the cord makes the unit swing and the coils can rotate up out of the water when used on the buckets wire handle.

Works well. Just what I was looking for.
I was looking for a gadget like this to warm my coffee at Starbucks, which often comes close to room temperature after cream is added. This beverage heater produces hot water within a minute or so. The only way to control the temperature is to switch it off or pull the plug. The built in switch on the cord makes this easy. Not all of these heaters have the switch.Be careful to leave the heating element immersed in the liquid for several seconds after turning it off to let it cool down. Never turn the heater on unless it is immersed in liquid or you may burn out the element.

Clip mechanism
The clip for the edge of a cup is so rudimentary that it’s almost worthless. It also doesn’t work very well with a deep cup. But the thing itself does heat efficiently.

Very Portable
I boil water for tea, coffee, and soups. I like that I don’t have to carry a bulky pot. I just stick the heater in a cup of water and when it boils, I add the rest of the ingredients.
