Well made. Not actual glass neon lighting but plastic with LED lights inside. VERY bright. It is so colorful! (Bought for my son, who is going to love it!) Seems to be pretty sturdy though I handled it like it was fragile just because I'm always very careful to take care with my purchases. Plugs in with a computer connection type thing (not sure of the name of it.) Was packed well in a box that will be easy to wrap.
