living on a tight budget im often shopping in the reduced to clear section of the supermarket , veggies etc are great but dont last long, my family are a big fans of the you tube programme "sortedfoods " they review products and have a app where you can make meals with out food wastage - anyway back to the mason vac, they reviewed one of these on sorted food and so i just had to buy one as they said they was a great little gadget- so if they recommended theni knew they was good, mine probably didnt cost as much as they one they reviewed a si cant remember the make but boy im sooo glad i made the purchase i buy lots of fruit and veggies and stuff at reduced prices chop them up or if strawberrys etc leave whole, vacuum the mason jar and they last ages in the fridge my veggies i just store in the food cupboard and a couple of weeks later they are still as fresh as if just bought - ibe saved loads of money yes ii had to buy the mason jars but i also had some in anyway but i love it , "canning" is a big thing in the states and it is getting popular over here in the uk but this way you dont have to boil in big pans of water to seal as this does it for you so if you want to save money on food etc get yourself one of these little sealers, it also seals bags too - i do have a bag vacuum but love he mason jars excellent bit of kit -

I use this machine to vacuum seal my dehydrated goods in canning jars and it works effectively. The charge lasts a very long time.

It does what you would expect and sucks all the air out of a jar. The instructions are a little vague and you have to turn it on to see how much charge it has but they are minor frustrations.

Very pleased how easy this is. Works on normal and wide mouth Mason jars. Seals perfectly every time. Takes 40 seconds and the charge lasts a long time. Quite a robust item. Not flimsy as I was worried it would be. Please note. This is not for lug lids only the two part Mason jar lids. Worth the money.

First can I tried canning with this, I hadn't overfilled but the suction sucked all the applesauce inside the machine, which then kept going on and off, and well... it now doesn't work anymore. It was a waste of money.

It cam connect to both sizes of Mason jar lid.The unit also has a hose attachment for bags, bottles, and other clothes and food storage.The top has three buttons. One for each vacuum method.Unit has a digital display of remaining charge and other notifications. It fits in drawee for quick, easy access, to vacuum pump at push of a button.

Not as versatile as I’d hoped, so returned for a refund before use.

Doesnt seal. Everything i made went mouldy so complete waste of time
