Q: looking to use this as a replacement on a 12v gas club car Will it work?

It's rate continuous @ 65A . Voltage and ground to upper Terminals holds main circuit closed continuously, though I would check it over time to see how much heat it generates. If you want to wire a switch you could turn battery on or off completely when not in use. This would probably elements most battery problems, but some cars have to program themselves after battery disconnect and will run poorly while adjusting.
