This is the best phone for elderly folk period. It's loud as hell, the buttons (although they look like they don't light up) are unbelievably bright, the display is also extremely bright even at noon in July, and it's interface is simplified to 4 button (unlike competitors that have 8!), battery is great too.If you got a grandfather or grandmother that you love, then you should buy this phone for them. They will appreciate you for it.

Does the job
Overall good value and ideal for older folks. The menu isn't very logical and some buried options but eventually found what I needed to enable and disable. Comes with good defaults suited to vision impaired people. The text entry isn't the standard 3-4 letters per key mand it took a while to get used to when entering names into the phonebook.

Phone lasted 2 days
The Phone was relatively easy to set up, and relatively easy to use for an elderly mother...However the battery died after 2 days or there is some other charging fault, (and it was left in the charger! ) Going through the returns process now.

Easy to use
This is used by a disabled person who finds it easy as he only has one hand. The SOS emergency button is invaluable and the charging block is so easy to drop the phone into.
