I really like the idea of this create your own banner and it works well. There are lots of letters and symbols and on the tiny instructions that come with it it list how many you get of each. It is thoughtful that there are specialised letters included (such as letters with umlauts) but I am unlikely to need or use these so perhaps offering different letter sets for a language may be useful, as well as the different colours.They are easily put together and I found pushing the dinky brad through was a better way of popping out the holes than trying to remove them before pinning them together.My one gripe with these is that they are not all the same shade of green, hopefully you can see this in the pictures. This was disappointing and with the banner I made I had one letter (the F) that was a darker shade and all the F's were darker so I had no choice.There are plenty of brads supplied and also a number of short pieces of elastic, I wasn't sure what to use those for!

We ordered this set for our daughter's christening and it did a perfect job - we could write all of her 3 names and decorate them with hearts and stars that are included in the box. We will definitely use these letters for many other occasions since they are of good quality and hold very well.
