Q: I am returning this item due to its very poor quality and you are offering me $10 less for the returned item. Why is that?

I agree its a Poor Quality I thought it was going to be a better material, but then again the price of it tells you everything but you should get what you paid for.

Q: Does this need to outgas to be safe for a 3 week old kitten?

Q: What’s the largest size that would fit in the backseat of a sedan(Subaru legacy?)

Do you mean to ask with the seats down in the back of your Subaru Legacy? I purchased an Xlarge and was able to fit it in the back of my Honda Civic Hatch just fine. Part of the Playpen Top pushed down a bit when I closed the hatch. Mind you this is with the back passenger seats down as well. My hatch measures 29" high and the Xlarge is 29.5" high.

Q: Is the extra large size flimsier than the smaller ones?

It's very sturdy. My god sin gets in and plays with my dog as well. However, I found that my dog has learned how to make the playpen roll like a ball while he's inside it.
