This is a beast! Takes on hills easily, but is a little heavy.
The bike arrived in just 3 days despite stating it would be upto ten days. It was packed brilliantly, but you need some snips as there were 100's of cable ties keeping everything together during transit. It's a beast. It was a bit scary at first as I wasn't used to an electric bike, but great fun and takes hills on with no effort.Have ridden quite a few miles now over the last few days, and the battery has only just started to drop. The seat is a little odd, I am quite short, so to cycle comfortably, I could do with the seat being higher, but then can't touch the ground. It's a real head turner, great fun but takes a while to adjust to it. It is very heavy though. So not as easy to maneuver.

Not a good buy
We had a lot of trouble as they tried to deliver this earlier than expected. The drivers were dreadful, drove off with the bike and refused to leave with neighbour. Worst delivery ever. The bike itself had issues from the start. It arrived scratched and when we tried to charge it, it would only partially charge. Maximum 14 miles per charge. The seller admitted in his messages that the bikes battery "has issues". In fairness the seller was great and tried to help and organised a swift return and refund.

Excellent value for money and extremely speedy delivery
Bike was delivered 1 week early.Easy to put together following instructions. About 20 minutes. As a "large framed man" this bike is very robust for hobby cycling.Pedal assist is fantastic especially as I have a debilitated leg and I was looking for something to get me out of the house and a bit of mild exercise. This is the second Engwe electric bike that we bought for our household as the build quality and value for money is great.

Its ok, but you'll soon want better
As a harsh critic of everything I own, I can only say that this bike does work, however its not great. Its ok, but you'll soon want better after you've tried it+ There are no instructions in the box. I needed to browse the internet several times to learn anything about the bike. Including switching it on, how to build it, how to release the battery, how to change it to miles, etc, etc. None of this was obvious+ The battery seems to be ok for awhile, but in reality it drops off very quickly. For the first 7 km the indicator stayed full, but at 13km, less that 40% was left. Only got 19km on the first charge. This indicator does not seem reliable and I hadn't changed it to miles yet+ The bike itself is very heavy. Almost 40kg, which is twice what a normal human can carry+ The weight reduces the folding functionality as you can't move it easily once folded and you need more space to fold it than is normally available+ There is no fixed indicator or groove for handlebar alignment. This makes setting it to the correct direction very difficult. The weight increases the difficulty and the oblique folding makes it even more so. I still haven't gotten it right and I've tried several times+ The weight and riding position make it difficult to operate without electric assistance. You basically lose the ability to use it like a regular bike, relying more on electric assistance than would normally be needed. Level 3 is the minimum needed to make pedalling worth it+ It takes more than half a pedal turn before the electrical assistance kicks in. The weight of the bike makes doing this difficult+ because a high level of assistance required just to get it going, the range is nowhere near the advertised amount of 25-31 miles. I got 19km on my first charge and that was between Level 3 and 5 assistanceAfter saying all this I think the rating is justified. It might even be generous...

Great bike
It's a monster of a bike, handles really well and has a lot of power behind it it almost sounds like an electric car sound 😀😄I cycle 25 miles so I had to get a different battery but so far it's really stable and you hardly feel the road with those big tires. Delivery was very quick but the service is very bad, they were so rude and not interested in helping bring it upstairs 🙄.

Nice bit of kit
Everything about this purchase was fantastic, from the prompt delivery, the superb way it was packaged, the putting together and the quality of the product. Taken it to work today, and it has drawn lots of attention from my colleagues, I highly recommend this e-bike

Not worth paying £950 for its performance
I wouldn’t recommend it at all, you can have more efficient e-bike for less than how you pay for this bike.I was desperately looking for foldable bike therefore I bought it but since I bought it I have got brakes repaired third time. Battery was not lasting long so that manufacturer sent me latest version of battery the way of saying sorry. I’m fed up with its issues so I just wanna get rid of it…

An E-bike to be proud of
Absolutley FantasticThis bike is a fantasticly engineered machine, not just the run of the mill e-bike.Engwe obviously put a lot of thought into the design and development of the EP 2 Pro.Such a comfortable ride and feels steady and sturdy too.Completely fulfils my expectations.Price is very good value for money (£950) when compared to the majority of other e-bikes on the market.
