I grew up playing Mancala, and I'm somewhat of an old-fashioned parent. Board games are a must at my house! So, you can imagine, I was pretty excited to buy this as a family gift for Christmas last year! We love the quality and craftsmanship of the board. It's sturdy, has a beautiful design on it, and the best part? It clasps closed! No more accidentally dropped and lost pieces.P.S.,If you do lose a piece or 10, that's okay! The seller's thought about that and include plenty of extra pieces in a convenient little drawstring bag.'Twas truly the perfect addition to our collection of games.

The wooden game board is solidly made. A generous amount of gems/crystals are provided to enable a more challenging game. Great for teaching to count, strategy, and problem solving. Small enough to pack for travel vacations by car.

My girlfriend and I play this all the time on iMessage so I surprised her with this version for Christmas one year. This game is super high quality. I love the finish on the wood and the stone that comes with it are great too! If you are looking for a fun game to play with a friend or spouse I highly recommend this unique game.

Great version of the classic game I grew up playing. I love, love, love that it has a clasp on the board itself so that it's easier to access from the game closet (no external box or rubber band needed), and that finish is beautiful. I also love that there is an included bag for the marbles so my kids don't have to raid my ziplock bag drawer when using unorthodox game pieces. (When I was a kid, one of our favorite things was to play with pieces of candy, so that after determining the winner, the players can eat what they ended the game with. Happy memories, those!)After playing a few times, though, I noticed the board already was becoming rough inside the grooves. I'm a bit disappointed in that. I'd only take away half a star if that was an option. I'm very happy with everything else.

Fung game at a good price. Seems well made

This is my favorite childhood game and I was excited to show my grandson my skillz. It is nice and the fact that it closes is also a nice feature and space saver. I had the old straight board before and it was always hard to find a place to store. The glass beads are basic and two were unusable because they were fused but there were plenty so still able to play. Overall it’s attractive wood case.The company contact me and offered replacement or refund because two beads were fused, demonstrating excellent customer support however there are plenty of glass beads and this isn’t necessary. We have enjoyed this game and it’s quality.

This is a great game for family nights.. Well made and lots of fun to play.
