I'm almost 60 and after tasting this, I feel like I've been cheated all this time using that brown color salt water swill people call soy sauce. There's no going back now. I'm going to have to get the 64 once cause this won't last long.

Used to be able to purchase this locally but could not find anymore so decided to order. Although I never received the product (damaged in shipping) I did get to try it from my local commissary when they did carry it. I used it to make a salad dressing and liked it because it is low sodium and used alcohol as a preservative. Rather than risk brining it in again, found a similar product by San-J at Whole Foods. Hopefully they will always carry it.

Excellent as a base for marinade or as a condiment straight from the bottle. The flavor of Tamari is superior to regular soy sauce, in my opinion, and is actually better with less sodium. I also like that Tamari is all soy rather than a wheat blend.

I do like the flavor profile and many TV chefs use it, as do I. But this is not soy sauce, although I like the flavor . I use this in my spice chicken in place of soy sauce and it is really good. Has a less salty task, and cuts down on salt. BUT when I want soy sauce, I use soy sauce. So I regard this as a true oriental flavor . I do recommend this.

Bring gluten sensitive brings many challenges especially when eating Chinese food. This is the best tasting gluten-free sauce for Chinese food. I also use it in place of Worcestershire sauce. Many supermarkets don’t carry it anymore so Amazon to the rescue.
