This actually works!
My vet wanted to schedule a tooth-cleaning procedure for my 7-year-old Mal-Shi, and I was not looking forward to the several hundred vet bill. Instead, I ordered PetLab's teeth whitener and fed it to my dog on his food. He never seemed to notice any bad taste associated with this, but the next visit with my vet was the real surprise. The vet remarked that my dog's teeth looked very good, and he was no longer pushing me to have the dental procedure! I love this and will continue using it. Have recommended it to all my pet-owner friends!

Fully eliminates stinky dog breath!
Amazing! 10 yr old dog with really smelly face for years! Planned to have teeth cleaned by vet but tried this first. Worked within a few days!! Fully eliminated his stinking! No bad breath. I’ll even let him lick me now! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Expensive but mostly works
At 53.95 when I purchased this, I knew it better work or I'd be returning it right away. And yes, it does fight plaque but the bottle it comes in is tiny, and I ordered the large size. The effect on the teeth is noticeable and has been helping remove some very discolored areas on the front teeth of my dog. The back teeth aren't really affected, so it doesnt perform as well as I had hoped, but I'm wondering if that's because it doesn't get all the way back in there as it's just sprinkled on top of your dogs food.It is very simple and easy to use, you just use the measuring scoop provided and sprinkle some over their food at meal times.I'm almost out now, and it did do a decent job on the front little teeth and the big canines, but did not get all the stains off and I still haven't figured out how to get it to the back of my dog's mouth with out sticking my finger on the teeth myself. For the value I'd say it's probably too expensive to keep up with as a daily item in our home, as I have several dog teeth cleaning items I use, but it cost about half of what taking my dog into the vet would be so if I look at it that way, it saved a little money.

Dental product for dogs
This seemed to work and take away bad breath, but by golly it is way too expensive! I wish companies would make things more affordable. I used it for almost three months but just got too expensive.

BE CAUTIOUS...
I do not have proof, but after only 2 meals including this powder, my dog collapsed and was unable to get up for about a minute scaring my 7yr old to death who was letting her inside when it happened. My husband had to help lift up her rear end (100lb Golden Retriever) and her legs were then very shaky for about a day. I'm not sure if she was lethargic or scared to try, but I had to really coax her to get up and move around afterward and into the next day. I have now read other reviews of similar situations. I am also thankful I had purchased the smaller jar by accident, so she had gotten a much smaller dose than she would have otherwise. Again, she's a 100lb Golden Retriever who had gotten a clean bill of health on her hips, etc. from the vet literally the day before. I had asked my vet about this product and she had heard good things, but didn't have personal experience, but she didn't see an issue with trying it. Again, I can't directly correlate her collapse and shakiness to the use of this, but it was the only thing different that had occurred and it seems like others have experienced something similar, so for safety reasons we immediately discontinued use. I will also add that we have a 50lb Husky Mix who also had 2 meals with it and she had no issues at all.

I highly recommend
This product works. Nearly impossible to brush my pups teeth. After 2+ months of use it was time for her annual checkup. Vet was impressed by how little plaque there was on her teeth. It had slowly gotten rid of it. Much better than having to have her put to sleep and have vet clean her teeth.

Cost
I’ve seen dramatic change in my gsd’s teeth. Great product though pricey!

Bad side effects
This product caused excessive thirst and urination in my dog after only a few days of use. I followed the directions for starting slow with the dosage in the beginning, but noticed after two days that she was peeing twice as often and drinking more water. Could have just been a bad reaction on her part, but I won’t be giving it to her anymore. It did seem to help with her breath, even after just a few uses, which is why I’m giving it two stars instead of one.
