Uncomfortable and poor quality
Within 2 rides they started falling apart. They are also the hardest grips I've ever used. It will eat your hands even with gloves. They look nice but I would not buy again

Real ProTaper grips? Not sure. Doubtful.
I had an old set of for real ProTaper dirt bike grips with the really sticky and soft dimpled squares all over them. They did wear out pretty dang quickly. These appear as ProTaper, but this specific design doesn't show up anywhere on the ProTaper grips website. I suspect that these are good quality copies and not the real deal. These are a much harder compound and in wet/mud conditions will be far more slick than the old ones. These did install easily and fit perfectly. AquaNet hair spray is my lube and glue of choice since the late 70's and it's still how I put grips on today. If your wondering, these are installed on my son's 2023 Honda XR150L dual sport.

Halfway right
The sides of the grips, where your thumbs will be, are a removable part? Thought that would be modeled into the grips.. maybe that's normal?
