Apple CarPlay will not connect wired or wireless. Very upset. The product is very glitchy and I got the 8 Core 6G+128G.

I got the 6GB ram 128GB rom and I am quite impressed by the quality of the screen, quality of the backup camera (720p). Wireless carplay works perfectly and connects quite fast after turning on the car.Now the cons:- No manuals or step by step on how to install the backup camera. You will have to lookup YouTube videos if you’re not used to install these.- Head unit stays stuck on reverse camera when switching from P to D too fast. I now need to stay half a second on R before going to D for the head unit to not stay stuck on the reverse camera screen. Otherwise the computer seems to not understand what just happened. (I have set the trigger on the reverse light)- Lack of physical button for the sound. It looks nice but trying to put the sound down while driving (my hyundai doesn’t have steering wheel buttons) can be a hassle.- Screen is too bright at night even with the light settings at minimum. On the other side, it looks great on daylight.- Lack of control in the settings. It seems that more things could be customized in the settings but for some reason the settings are very limited.For the price I am still happy of the result. It looks nice and it is not laggy at all (Again I have the 6GB Ram. I do not know about the 2-4 GB ram speeds).The aesthetic of the software is not the nicest but since I mainly use it for CarPlay it doesn’t really matter to me.If you only use it for CarPlay then it’s quite “Plug and Play”. 100% recommend for CarPlay use only. For the backup camera it is nice as well but a bit more hassle.

Just perfect

I watched all the videos provided in this product page AND watched some YouTube’s and it seemed easy enough. And then when the box shows up NOTHING looks like how it does in tutorial video. There is way way way more electrical task and responsibilities of connecting and creating things then is showed in the video. So just be clear you will pay someone $260 to install this after you buy it.

Installation was super easy, but the user experience is not. JUST needed this for Apple CarPlay, but the connection was always glitchy (wired or wireless). Tried to problem solve on my own (YouTube videos and forums), but still glitchy. Additionally, when connected to the USB port, the phone does not charge. No thanks, I will return and get a non Android HU from Crutchfield.

Funciones básicas, depende mucho de la calidad de tú celular para un mejor funcionamiento. Lo único que no te permite ver videos o al menos a mi no me deja. Por lo demás... Todo bien.
