Great value
For a solid, full tang bowie you could do worse. This knife is well constructed and came pretty sharp. The sheath is pretty much what you get with a budget blade, but serviceable. The handle is micarta and a bit slick, but still provides a decent grip. The blade is pretty thick and has a good heat for chopping. Batoning should be easy. It feels balanced enough for fine work as well as rough bushcraft. Skinning seems like it would be a breeze due to the nice belly. The tip is thick enough to withstand forceful stabbing, but thin enough for good penetrative. Paired with a Buck 110, you'd have a complete toolkit. Highly recommended. Update: I bought the wooden handled one as well. Great value for what you get. Update: I bought another one with the wooden handle. Still made well and is now my EDC

Decent blade.
Nice blade, good steel, good heft and sharpness. However the handle is a little thin for my hand.

I have the buck 124 as well. Very comparable but so much less expensive!
I love this knife! I love the looks. I have the Buck 124 as well and I am glad I have them both now. Well made and nice sheath.

This is a good survival knife
I wanted a big bowie that was heavy enough to use under survival conditions. This knife is solid, heavy, no nonsence and no frills knife that I can stow with survival equipment. I will be considering buying another one just like it.It is a good purchase and I approve of its manufacture.

I am sorry to say, but mine was garbage/junk.
Absolute garbage quality control. I am sorry but it’s true. I got suckered watching a youtube comparing it to a Buck 124. The knife I got would not compare to a walmart china $14.99 knife eat alone a BUCK 124! Maybe I got a lemon. That could happen……but Damn I should have taken pictures but returned it within I am sorry 15 minutes. It was not even symetrical, the marcarter handles were different size width on either side, the blade guard was uneven and tilting upward, spaces between the blade and blade guard, so on. I will NEVER buy a foreign made knife again, unless it’s a cold steel or civivi. Spend the extra bucks and get a USA made Ka-bar or BUCK knife.

Budget buck 124
The knife is sturdily built and Holds its edge well. Handled batoning well, no glinting, edge rolling or warping. It had a few small nicks in the spine when it arrived but nothing terrible. the handle is smooth and fits my hand nicley. The sheath is alright, nothing fancy but holds the knife frimly. great option if you don't feel like dropping $200 on a buck 124. You could argue D2 is better than 420HC depending on how you use your knife.
