Works well
These wicks are so nice, they add a unique touch to any candle. They burn well , wood is perfect thickness. And easy to use. They are a little messy to trim but when lit crackle so nicely.

Ones to get!
Struggled with typical solid, hobby, veneers that do not burn well. Constant delighting sometimes & smoldering at other times.Just looking at the thought behind this design seemed better & sure enough PERFECT. Feel like a champ.Only drawback is make sure to use less rather than more wick.Gor long/oval presentations I broke into 1/2 inch per every 3 ING run. Can put multiple in linear manner but apart from each other. Some large round bowls I used a cross/x pattern with the center vacant.I'll NEVER again buy anything different.

Almost a solution to making a homemade WoodWick candle at home
I liked that I could proceed and use a used WoodWick football shaped container to melt down old candles and reuse a homemade candle. All I was missing were the wooden wicks. I found some on Amazon but they were less than half the length I needed so doubled them up and it works fine. If I can find some wicks twice the size of the ones I bought, i would be happier

It’s Great, But Let Me Save You Some Trouble...
First off, let me say, these wicks are amazing… but I had to go through a few experimental stages before I figured out the best way to use them, so let me save you the trouble: (Feel free to take it or leave it :)1. They work better with hard wax than soft wax (in my experience), because the wick does burn quite hot2. Because it burns hot, you REALLY need a high, high quality vessel (and yes I say this from experience, sadly)3. Even if you’re burning it for long periods of time, REALLY try to blow it out and snap off the brittle tips every once in a while, or else they will turn to ash and mix with the wax and it kind of ruins the look (plus, in the picture the wick had just been trimmed, and the flame is still very high)4. You want to set it up with the flat side at the bottom of the candle, because it won’t light otherwiseand 5. I soaked it in olive oil for a minute the first time I used it, it made the burn quality a little finicky, and it turned the crackle into a hissing popping noise that was far less pleasant. I wouldn’t soak it, honestly—it’s a far better experience just as-is. The crackle sound without oil soaking is very pleasant. (As I learned in later candles)And yes, it is very easy to use! It’s easy to break into sections, and the stickers and metal holders make wax pouring very easy. The thickness of the wick is great, in my opinion, and there are plenty of metal holders, enough to use multiple when you want to use a whole sheet for a wick, in order to keep it from bending while pouring the wax.The ONLY negative thing I will say about this product, is that as the wax cools after pouring there tends to be dimples in the wax on either side of the wick, I assume it is because of the holes in the wick itself, but it didn’t affect the beauty of the candle for me. I’ve made four candles in various sizes so far with these wicks and I’ve loved all of them!

Very happy with these wicks.
The media could not be loaded. Very Happy with the burn of these. I did cut the metal clips down to a quarter of an inch as them seemed pretty long. I only doused them with olive oil shortly before pouring wax in rather than soaking them but it doesn't seem to have affected their burn.. As the melt pool grew,, they started to really kick into high gear. I'm also using 100% coconut soy wax and not a blend.

Great burn
Wicks burn perfectly. Only Amazon wicks I have found that don’t burn out randomly and slow burn very well. The crackle sound is icing on the cake!

Awesome wicks
Great wicks but do yourself a favor, soak in vegetable oil for 10 minutes before setting in candle mold, makes them burn & burn longer!

Assumes you know how to install wicks
The wicks are easy to install but keep in mind the wick must be soaked in liquified wax in order to burn properly. If you don't prepare the wick it will burn out quickly.
