Necto Cellular Temperature & Humidity Monitor - [4G LTE] No Monthly Fees - Power Outage and Temp Sensor with App Alerts, Remote Monitoring for RV, Pet, Home, Greenhouse & Server Room

I placed the Necto in our Florida seasonal home where internet often fails (thank you Comcast!). The Necto was easy to set up and works via G4, independent of the internet. I can check the temperature and humidity inside the house from anywhere in the world on my iPhone. It updates the readings every 10 minutes and alarm notifications can be easily set so that I get a text notification if the temperature or the humidity reaches a certain level. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that the AC works properly in a climate where the humidity can be high and mold grows quickly. I will get a second Necto for my northern home to monitor the temperature during the winter when I am in Florida. It is a great device and G4 cellular is prepaid for two years, included in the purchase price. Also want to mention that it has an excellent antenna and works in places where the cell reception on my phone is weak (1 bar). Only suggested improvement opportunity would be having an App. So far Necto provides readings only on their website after logging in.

I originally bought another popular brand marketed towards pets. It did not work. I am happy to say this one worked immediately upon arrival. Unlimited alerts, it is easy to set up, the price is fair and the yearly fee after the two years are up is also reasonable. I'm happy to know I can keep an eye on the temp. I do lots of dog sports and while I never intentionally leave my dogs in the car for long periods. However, sometimes when you travel alone there is a good 15-20 minutes that you must carry crates into the venue, supplies, etc into the venue to set up before you can bring your dogs in. I only have two arms, leaving me to make several trips to get crates before I grab my dogs since dogs can't be left loose or unattended at events they need to be crated. Now I can set up my crating area and know if my fans die or if the temp gets too high I will be alerted and can head and get my dogs immediately.

Great device to keep your pets safe when traveling in a RV. Quick easy set up. I like that it gives alerts when the temp gets out of range but ALSO WHEN TEMP COMES BACK INTO RANGE. My other device doesn't automatically do that and that can you in a panic trying to get to the RV and your pets.

The unit has worked flawlessly for over a year now. Keeps us well informed of excessive temps and power loss in our RV when we are away.

UPDATE: living in a warm climate and camping at my state parks, this device has potentially saved my pups life twice as the campground power has gone out twice while I was away, both time I was able to monitor the temperature to make sure it don’t reach dangerous levels. I highly recommend this is you travel with animals.Only used for one trip. Setup was pretty easy did have issue with setting the temperature and humidity high and low settings. Contacted them by email and because it was the weekend took few days to get back to me.I was out paddle boarding and approximately 2 hours away from being able to return to my camper and I got a text saying the power went out. I called the campground and they confirmed it. I was able to keep an eye on the temperature and made sure it didn’t get too hot for my pup. It updates every 10 minutes. The power did come back on after 45 minutes and it texted me again. I was once again able to check and watch the temperature go back to what I had AC set at knowing the air was cooling the camper.In this campground cellular is poor and this device had no problems keeping a constant signal.I’ve owned other devices that check for temperatures and you can only check them a few times before they start to charge you a fee on top of their monthly fee.This device has no monthly fee for 2 years and then I believe it’s $29.xx a year.I love my purchase and would buy it again.

Great product, great price, easy setup. I installed it in my second home in the mountains so I'll know if there's a problem with the heat or power. It's notified me twice when the temperature dropped and by doing so saved me money and aggravation.

The Necto is fantastic! We had the waggle in our van for a year and it was the bane of our existence. It would fail, the subscription rates kept changing kept changing, it had a clunky interfere. The waggle never actually gave me peace of mind when we left our dog. It was not trustworthy. The Necto however, is a godsend! This works smoothly, setup it up once (and easily) and i've never had an issue. It reads correctly, alerts us clearly. And no monthly payment for two years! This thing is worth every penny even though it's more upfront. Highly recommend!
