I got this for the Asus ROG ALLY. It works as described. I didn't use the small piece because my m.2 drive stayed in flat and there wasn't any instructions. With a little internet searching I finally figured out what it was for but I had already closed up the ALLY and it's been working perfectly ever since.

I bought this for my Asus ROG Ally, it was a little bit of a tight fit. But no damage done when installing. The clip that it came with to hold down the longer drive was quite flimsy and I'm not too sure how long it will last. But it works well and didn't affect the read and write rates at all. Definitely recommend this if you want to save money and not purchase the smaller form factor drive.

I was a skeptic at first, it wound up to be a great decision for upgrading my ROG ALLY's SSD to 2TB after all. If you know what you're doing go ahead and purchase.

Just installed it on my ally with 4TB 2280 ssd and it's working perfectly, I recommend it 👌
