It serves the purpise
I love the size, I'm using mine now, it took a minute to get the lid together. It is a stock pot not a complete pressure cooker the lid lock down which is good the steam releases to keep from boiling over. It did notboil over not one time so it does hood the steam in but releases it to keep it from boiling over. It's OK for a stock pot. So it serve it's purpose.

8 Qt Orange Stock Pot with See-through Lid Standing
At first, when I received the pot, it seemed to me that it was too lightweight. Considering that I have an electric stove, this has always been a problem for me. Because on an electric stove, the bottom of any pan with thin metal (and not very thin ones too) bends inward after the first use. And then, when frying or stewing, the middle remains without oil, and is cooked unevenly. But how surprised I was when I tried to cook a stew in this pan! The pot heated up very quickly, and the meat was fried evenly, just because it was double-layered. The lid with a rubber edging worked without complaints and, if necessary, the valve can release steam as it should. I am very pleased with the purchase, considering that over the past two years I have changed many expensive pots & pans. It is very difficult to find something worthwhile that will work effectively on an electric stove. And this pot is not expensive at all and looks cheerful. Let's see how long it will last.

Defective paint
Sadly while involved the color of the pan as well as the caldron shape, unfortunately, if I could return it for a refund, I would. The pan is clearly painted and the paint on the bottom burned and left the black paint on the glass top after only about my 5th use of ittoday. Keep.in mind, the burner was on the lower setting as I was trying to slow cook ribs. Thinking it might have happened because it was on the hear too longBe careful because now I'm worried that the paint is not safe use when using the pan as intended...on a stove..with heat.

Putting parts together
I like the product but dislike how hard it was to put it together. No clear instructions. Had my engineer granddaughter put it together.
