10/10
Love it! Nice for a basic everyday use laptop. Normally don’t pick dell over other brands but I thought I would since it was on sale. Light weight, fast, good battery life (depending on usage), no lag,

Big value
Didn't expect this to be as nice as it is. I needed to replace an old laptop, i couldn't run the software i needed without it freezing and having issues.Got this and everything is running on it perfectly.Came in great condition, was fully set up inside an hour. Def would recommend to others. Nice picture, fast, easy easy set up.

Nice laptop, charger doesn't seem to fit though
Computer is fine. Charger doesn't seem to fit into laptop correctly. Doesn't go into the computer almost the way. Almost as if it's not for the device, which definitely affects the charging speed.

Major problems and dismissal support.
Mother board failed. Called Del and they diagnosed and the problem and they sent me to a local shop for repair. It took 3 months to get the replacement motherboard. The repair shop put in the new motherboard. When I turned on the computer I couldn’t use it because the hard disk had been locked by a Microsoft application. When I demanded a fix they said that was my problem. When I demanded they said it was my problem. When I was leaving they shop the manager told me to never come again nI tried to clear the the problem using the instructions on Microsoft. Nothing worked.

Still delighted with pirchase after 3 months of daily use.
So far great. Battery life is great, using several days without recharging. It does not have a touch screen, but not needed for what I do.Quality seems more than adequate. Setup was simple and relatively quick. Quick in general, system loaded and ready to work in less than 20 seconds.I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to a friend or love one.

Okay budget productivity laptop but don't expect anything beyond that.
This is my first laptop, used desktops exclusively for a few decades now, so I went in with muted expectations. Regardless for a sub-400 USD (on sale and 2023 "technology") laptop this is a decent daily driver for business and general home use (with some glaring caveats). For business it is a decent productivity laptop at a very reasonable price. It can accomplish most tasks adequately at worst. Anything from conference calls to spreadsheets it's good to go.For home use and/or creativity that's where it falls short. The screen quality, while a clear-ish 1080p screen the color is abysmal for media of any kind except text. Even most budget tablets have a better colour reproduction than this so don't expect to enjoy streaming services like Netflix or anything like that. As for performance....well it's not good for much. The on-board graphics chip, an AMD Radeon 610m, is the worst mobile graphics chip that AMD offers in it's Ryzen 7000 generation of mobile chipsets. It basically is good enough to accelerate 4K 60 mhz Youtube videos and that's it. You can barely get it to play PC games from the late 2000's and early to mid 2010's on anything higher than low 720p.Now despite all that I initially thought this was still an amazing deal for what you get because both Amazon and Dell itself was advertising that the RAM and storage were both upgradeable. Needless to say they are not. Everything is soldered onto the board so your stuck with what you've got. 8 gigs of RAM in this day an age is sub-par, even for a business-focused laptop but at least the RAM is dual channel so there is that. The 512 GB NVME drive is not bad but it being upgradeable would be a plus. If I would have known that the RAM and storage were not upgradeable I would have passed this on even at the 340 USD price tag. I will give credit to Amazon and Dell credit for correcting the description after I contacted Dell directly about this and pointed out this was "bait and switch" type marketing.Overall this isn't a bad basic daily driver but honestly I would look for an upgradeable alternative even at this slightly higher budget price.
