Fits well in dining room
Great for what I wanted which is a wall mounted tv for small room used only through WiFi connection.

LG have let themselves down.
I bought this 43 inch TV to upgrade a 10 years old 39 inch LG TV. At £280 (December 2024), I thought it was a good price, especially when I considered in the price I paid for the 39 inch at the time. Sadly, the 10 years old TV performs netter than the newer model. On the plus side, The TV was easy to assemble and looks good. The remote is sturdy and fits well in the hand. The picture quality on movies from streaming apps, such as Amazon Prime is very good. The sound quality from the on-board speakers is also good, although, as I use the TV in the bedroom, the volume is never turned up very loud. The downsides, sadly, outweighed the good points. The user interface is not intuitive and makes finding what you want a bit of a pain. This is due to the file structure. It is REALLY slow to turn on or switch between applications. This may be down to the internal chip, which is probably the weak point and the reason that the TV is relatively inexpensive for a 4K TV. After scanning for digital channels (twice) using a proven roof-mounted aerial, I cannot pick up the any of the terrestrial HD channels; BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, ITV1 HD, Channel 4 HD - you get the idea. All of these channels are present on the older 39 inch LG TV, using the same aerial in the same room.Looks are not enough, so the 43 inch is being returned after two weeks of head scratching and disappointment. Fortunately, the 10 years old 39 inch LG HD TV is still working and has been re-instated until I can find a replacement for the sub-standard 43 inch.Buy this TV if you are price sensitive and you are willing to tolerate the aforementioned shortcomings. Samsung, here I come.

Good picture but controls too complex
Very fine picture and lots of features - far more than we need and we find navigating the controls frustrating

THE SLOWEST GUIDE and UI loading times ever
Great picture, good sound but THE SLOWEST GUIDE and UI loading times ever.I have another, more expensive OLED LG TV which also has a ludicrously slow to load guide. I feel a right mug going for this. I was suckered in by the cheap price. I'd advise doing YouTube or other research on other makes around this price bracket and see what the performance is like. Pay extra to get a more responsive UI. Also have been getting app memory issues. I had to delete anything I could - alas the LG apps cannot be deleted! Another negative is the short lead. If you're gonna wall mount this, the lead will not beong enough.

Good picture
The TV is fine. The box arrived without the manual which is very disappointing. When I tried to use a streaming box through HDMI, the TV remote had no SOURCE or INPUT buttons. Even the MOUSE button on the remote couldn’t display the HDMI options. Contacted customer service, the advisor was poorly trained , I wasted half an hour trying to explain the problem and she couldn’t resolve it. At the end she told me one of their specialist engineer will be emailing me to help me resolve this issue. It’s now a week since that call and no one from LG contacted me to resolve this problem. Not happy with LG quality of customer service.
