Very good movie
This was an interesting film, very good production values, a six person crew of 3 Russian and 3 US astronouts/cosmonauts are on a tour of duty on the ISS when there is a nuclear war between Russia and USA, seeing the nuclear detonation across North America from the ISS the two factions are pitted against each other to take control of the ISS at all costs, as one of the science projects on board had produced a cure for radiation sickness and both the US and Russia want it to help survive the conflict the best, would have got five stars except I thought the ending was rather abrupt, not knowing if they survived re entry to earth in a Soyuz capsule or who indeed got the anti radiation serum........still a very good film though, highly recommended if you like sci fi /space genre's.

Spoilt by shaky camera technique
I got several minutes into the film and realised I wasn't going to be able to watch it, or if I did it was going to be an effort. Why? Because the director decided that it might be more interesting if they used the shaky camera technique (or something akin to it). It's usually employed when the film isn't up to much and the director wants to give the illusion of the film being edgy and exciting. But, for me, it just makes my eyes tired and I feel nausea, rather like travel-sickness. I love sci-fi and I must have watched hundreds of sci-fi films and TV series. So I know it's perfectly possible to create a film that doesn't make someone feel sick. The fact that the story relates to life on a space station is no excuse. The first rule in making a film or TV series is, surely, to maximise the audience who can watch and enjoy it?

I struggled to stay awake.
America & Russia go all out in a Nuclear war & before the rockets flew, both countries instructed their astronauts to take control of the International Space Station, by any means necessary.Starts of slow, then gets better but a predictable ending, in my humble opinion.

A good OLD idea badly adapted.
The beginning of this film came as no great surprise, it is based upon an old idea; the Russians and Americans on the ISS while war breaks out on Earth. Their individual instructions: Take over the ISS at all costs. It was a scenario that has been played out in many films over many decades though sadly nothing was learned from these examples,The result; a boring and repetitive plot which couldn't come to an end sooner. I watched all the way through, sorry - I didn't, I advanced the last two sections just to get it over with.I won't be watching this again in the future, that is unless I need to bore myself to sleep.
