Do not waste your money or sanity
Really cool concept for this build, but sadly it is impossible to put together. Some of the bendable tubing pieces are too stiff and you literally cannot keep small delicate pieces together when trying to put it all together. Too much pressure and movement on moveable parts, and many tiny pieces come apart all at once. If you want to super glue a bunch of pieces as you go, it might work out. Do not recommend!

Cool display piece
I have a few dinosaur builds under my belt, but nothing like the Nutcracker Mechanical Tyrannosaurus brick set.The set comes with the bricks in bags numbered 1-6, the manual and a single sticker. The bricks are all compatible with the major brands and, with a few one offs, I had no problems getting them to click into place with minimal pressure. The manual is easy to follow with brick colors clear to make out. Each bag number represents an individual part of the build; base, leg, arm, body, etc. It made it very easy to keep track. One thing that I liked that was different from other builds is that, after each step, you are putting the limb to the side and moving on to the next. You aren't going to assemble until the end. The final assembly went smoothly and nothing popped apart while I was doing it at all.The end result is a very cool looking mecha-dino model. It is LARGE at almost two feet long and will definitely get attention. At $90 for a 1500 piece brick set, it is a bit pricey (and honestly, it's the only reason I even thought about giving a 4 star review) but it still comes in cheaper than a model by the big L brand. I would rate this at 4.5 stars if I could, but rounded up to 5 based on the ease of the build and how awesome it looks.

For the money I paid it's not worth it
It's impossible to put it together, elements are not holding. Maybe if you use glue or mechanic tools

Kids love Dinosaurs, robots and plastic bricks. Not the name brand, but close enough. Great for kids that are too young for a glued model, because that's what these are, a build once model kit. This is a great way for a kid to learn how to follow instructions and put together a thing from parts.Ends up as a great looking diorama, with the mechanical Dinosaur walking among the bones of his organic ancestors. Evolution is crazy sometimes.

nifty animal set
This was a challenging and fun set to build, and it looked great when finished! The instructions were easy to follow, the bricks snapped together easily, and they stayed together well.
