I do a lot of paint by numbers and think this one was my favourite. The colours were great and nicely labelled. The paint was good quality and covered the numbers well.

This MEIYUDA paint by numbers set arrives with everything that is required to get started.The picture looks great in the product page but when you see it in it’s raw state, as a canvas with hundreds of tiny numbers squeezed into an outline drawing of the stag, it is a bit daunting.Each paint pot has a number printed on it so I just chose a number then began to paint all the corresponding numbers on the canvas. I kept going until I could not see any more of that number, then I moved onto the next number.Over several hours you begin to see the painting take shape. I found some of the very, very, very! tiny areas that required a little speck of paint got mistakenly painted over although this does not really notice.You do have to paint the canvas background white, I found this a little tedious but the results were worth it.For me, it did not matter that I ended up with a painting not as refined as the painting in the product page as I very much enjoyed the 'process' and completing my ‘artwork’.For all the hours of quiet enjoyment I got, this is somewhat of a bargain.

This paintings comes already framed so it is perfectly flat and ready to paint. The quality of brushes is poor but I have my own tiny brushes. This is a very detailed design and I'm using nail brushes to be able to paint the smallest bits. I absolutely love the design as it is beautiful and challenging. The 'MEIYDUA Paint by Numbers for Adult with Frame Lake, Moon Canvas 30x40cm' arrived in a simple wrap that also contained paint, paintbrushes, colour miniature, pads, and reference chart.With the canvas already framed it is one less task that needs to be performed, and in my opinion it is better to be done before painting, it also means it can go straight on the easel.As with a lot of this style of paint by number kits the colour reference picture provided is around 1 inch in size which I consider too small to be of much help, I would much prefer something closer to full size, which I believe would also benefit many others especially beginners. It would also be nice if the reference chart were at least twice the size of the canvas making it easier to read.My advice to a beginner, with so many small areas I find it important to double check the colour before painting. I like to take my time working on the pictures as it can be very relaxing.

Great paint by numbers kit. Everything you need is included and the mounting frame is a bonus. I’ve started painting but far from being finished.A great way to chill and relax.
