Mellow taste - works fine with a tea ball infuser
This tea was bought for our daughter who suffers from reflux and LPR.The bag itself is self sealing and is lined internally to help to retain the freshness of the tea.I was pleasantly pleased to note that the tea was not too powdery, meaning it would be retained well when using in a tea ball infuser. It also works ok when our daughter uses it in a tea pot that has a fine mesh infusion holder. The smell of the tea is rather unique, perhaps some might describe it as unpleasant. Not too pungent or off putting, but just "earthy" and not too pleasing. However, the taste is most mellow and welcoming. I tried a couple of cups of this tea, our daughter is now drinking it regularly. She believes that it coats her throat and helps to soothe it, leaving that coating feeling for some time. That is most helpful for her. Having used it for some time now she is most pleased with how it is helping her to deal with LPR and reflux.I also felt that, not having LPR or any form of reflux, it has a nice taste and that coating she described is apparent, in a good way. It has a slightly sweet taste, perhaps more apparent to me as I do not use sugar. The cost is a little expensive for what you get, but it does seem to last. Our daughter using a couple of heaped tea spoons in her tea pot infuser and will, over a day, have enough for five small cups of tea. Whilst at home she prefers to use the teapot as she gets more of the drink from it, being left to steep within the pot.Overall, recommended.Hope this is helpful.

Great product
After reading negative reviews, I was hesitant to order, but to my surprise, it’s not bad at all. It’s a great tea, and I’ve already ordered more.

It tastes woody and slightly camphor-ish.
If you are new to Marshmallow Root tea and are wondering what it tastes like, it tastes woody and slightly camphor-ish. It reminded me of very old chests of drawers. I gave it five stars because it's probably good quality tea and it didn't seem fair to give it less, but it is an acquired taste which I didn't like.

yuck
I thought ti would help sore throat caused by reflux but it smells and tastes so horrible that I binned it and bought chamomile instead.
