Very strong solenoid
This solenoid has crazy pull. It does draw a lot of amps when energized, be warned, but good for something needing a secure pull or push. It has a threaded shaft with a nut protecting the threads. It gets pretty hot when energized for a long time, but does what is made more and does it well.

Over heated.
There wasnt any amp or volt ratings over then 12 v. I tried every amp setting i had. The coil over heated and at over 230 degrees i pulled the plug. I need to have it energized for 1 hour and that didnt happen. Not sure what this is for . A push button then off. lol Careful what u use this for. it over heats fast.

Powerful and Heavy Duty
This review is for the Push Pull Solenoid DC 12V 35mm Long Stroke Small Electromagnetic Solenoids Electric Magnet For Automobiles, DIY (DC 12V)This solenoid is not meant for continuous use, as some reviewers mentioned heat issues. It is best suited for quick pulses, such as for a locking mechanism. Know your application. It works well for my needs, and I would purchase it again.

Heavy duty actuato
This is big, heavy and provides a lot of force. The total (unpowered length) is about 5 inches and it weighs over a pound. I tested it at 12v and it actuates correctly with 2 in displacement.
