ChumsSurfshorts Wallet - Lightweight Zippered Minimalist Wallet with Clear ID Window - Water Resistant with Key Ring

Fits all the basics plus an airtag and isnt bulky. Separate compartments for id/important that stay in the wallet, and another compartment for items used regularly. Quality zipper, vibrant colors, good construction. No worries of it disconnecting from my keys. I have a push button start, and my car key fits perfect tucked in the outside pocket with the keyring. 10/10 wallet, love it, would absolutely buy again (but i think it will last a long time so i probably wont have to!)

I’ve owned a Chums Surfshorts Wallet for many, many years (I’m guessing 20+ years). Back then, there was only one color available - BLACK - and it is still in remarkably good condition. The design is the same. The new Chums has the same width, but it is about 1/4 inches longer in the length. The new Chums seems to be constructed of the same but lighter and thinner material so I’m not sure if it has the same durability as my old one.I did replace the BIG key-ring with a small S-carabiner. This made it more streamlined or slimmer. Nowadays, the need to carry several metal keys have become less common so there’s no need for a BIG key-ring. All I carry on the small mini S-carabiner is one metal key and a FOB.I use my Chums Surfshorts Wallet for three activities.The first use is whitewater and sea kayaking. The Chums is slim enough that I can tuck it into my lifejacket or paddling jacket pocket. It is NOT waterproof, but I have a perfectly sized “dry bag” that fits the Chums.The second use is for going to the gym. I just carry my essentials (driver’s license, one credit cared, etc.) to the gym. I don’t leave the Chums or anything of valuable in my gym locker because of the high incidents of locker room thefts. Instead, I keep my Chums with me at all times in my small everyday workout carry bag. This is one of the reasons why I got a new BRIGHTLY COLORED Chums. My old BLACK Chums would just blend in and disappear with all my other gym gear so I would panic thinking that I lost it. With the new BRIGHTLY COLORED Chums, it stands out so the visual reassurance is worth the purchase.The third use is as an extra wallet for foreign travel. I have two wallets. One is the primary wallet and the Chums is an extra wallet that is kept in my hotel room to store my driver’s license, extra credit cards, and anything else that I don’t need to carry with me.

I bought this wallet after trying several other "minimalist" wallets. I tried everything from bi-folding, to Ridge to wallets with buttons on the side to eject my cards out. What I ended up realizing with all these different wallets are that they all seem to have issues that I found annoying. The ridge wallet with it's metal exterior made me concerned it would scratch my phone and I hated having to slide my ID in and out of it anytime I wanted to buy a beer. Then along came this little wallet. It's light, it holds everything from my ID, debit & credit cards and some folded up cash but it remains very small and easily carried in my front pocket. I also like the key ring to attach it inside my backpacks when hiking, snowboarding, kayaking. The only downside is it does feel a little dorky unzipping my wallet to pull a card out, but I rarely have to do that these days and the clear front lets me show my ID without having to pull it out.

Best wallet I've ever had by far. It's practical, has just the right number of pockets, the quality and color of the fabric is amazing, and the zippers are great. I like it so much I bought an embroidered patch to personalize mine (attached with velcro). When this one wears out, I'll definitely get another one, but so far I've had for several months and no sign of wear.

This is my second CHUMS wallet. The last one I had, the zipper finally broke after having it for about 7 years. I seriously love these wallets. First of all, they are water resistant. So I can take it hiking, fishing, Kayaking or sporting events and not worry about the documents inside the wallet. Of course, its only resistant, not water proof.In addition, they are small and compact which makes carrying it super easy. There are two compartments in the wallet. One side has a clear window for your ID. I also use this compartment for all my insurance information. The other compartment holds all my Credit/Debit/gift/ and store cards. In all, I hold approximately 20 items in this wallet and its about an inch thick.The other really great thing about this wallet is it has the RFID material in it so your cards can't be accessed by individuals who like to steal your identity or credit card information.I 100% think this is a wallet for everyone.

In terms of color its not as vibrant as advertised. I was looking forward to the strong orange but it looks washed out.In terms of build, its compact. It fits cash bills and cards right down the the millimeter.The zipper compartment by the ID side is a bit tighter. The zipper blocks the cash/card so you need to maneuver it a bit when retrieving contents. Best not to put cash to avoid tearing the bills. The other side has more room to maneuver, but still when trying to open the zipper, it's blocked by the cash. Not a major deal but a few extra millimeters would have been great.These are just minor things to be aware of but overall I'm happy with my purchase. I like that I can separate my bills and coins from my cards.There is an attachment for you to put your keys. I will instead get a lanyard so that i can easily retrieve it in my bag.I dont plan on exposing my ID, so everything will be kept in the compartment behind it.

Perfect little travel wallet. Love that it has two different zip up compartments. Well made but light weight and will hold ID's and credit cards easily.
