LodgeMelting Pot, 11.5 x 6.3 cm,Black

This is the cutest we pot! And has many uses, I only have it a few days, and I’ve used it to make pepper sauce, could b used for gravy, custard, melting butter, heating veg or soup, stew, one portion, makes enough sauce for two to three people, I’ve even used it as an ort bowl on the edge of the Stanley range, for collection of my odds and ends of thread when stitching beside the stove, as the heat dos it no harm, I guess I will find many more uses for it, easily cleaned with just water, then must dry well, would like one a little bigger as well, it even looks great just sitting on the stove, it is heavy and gets very hot!!! don’t touch without a thick cloth when cooking, will hold the heat for a long time after it’s switched off I use on glass top cooker, it’s narrow on the base not sure how stable it would b on gas,

This is an excellent product and I fully recommend it. In my experience, all Lodge cast iron products are absolutely outstanding.However, I was extremely disappointed with Amazon's packaging - the box it came in wasn't even sealed at both ends. My parents initially received the product, and when I picked it up it slipped out and hit the floor. Frankly I'm disgusted at the lack of care Amazon put into packaging this product. There was also no internal padding. I hope Amazon take this criticism on board.Otherwise, yet another outstanding product from Lodge! Also, it's quite a bit bigger than the impression you get from the photo. That's a good thing!

lodge stuff is generally totally awesome although some of the pans do need to be sanded down to make them non-stick. le creuset is pretty but a rip off when you compare to the american cast iron - it's functional and tough and that is what i need from my cookware.there is literally nothing better i have done this year than holding this badboy full of molten butter, garlic and parsley pasting it all over a bunch of lobsters grilling on the barbecue.

Does not stand properly, therefore it is quite flimsy and unwieldy. Can tip over easily... The rest is great as it is cast iron by Lodge!!!

This is a very useful pan for one person but it is smaller than I had thought it would be

I do love this little pan. It arrived slightly damaged as I think the packaging wasn't quite adequate and it rubbed together with another pan, but still usable.

This is the absolute perfect size for me to heat up not only sauces, but my baby's food! I don't use microwaves anymore and would always make too much when using a normal pot. So this is just the right portion size and such an easy clean up.

Good item. Heavy and great for the oven. Little expensive though for the size.
