I have no real complaints about this remote. It binds easy and it looks bad ass. People are complaining that the white body get dirty real easy. Like wash your hands if I the cleanliness of the remote is your biggest issue

Antenna is cheap and floppy with no detentsSticks are also cheap feeling compared to dx8eThe biggest miss is the material they chose for the body of the transmitter, it gets dirty so fast and it’s impossible to get clean.Do yourself a favor and do not buy this transmitter and avoid utter disappointment like myself

I think it does a good job for an E series radio. The E is for economy after all... Yes, I have some gripes, but it powers my mighty fleet of E-Flite birds without fault. I've never had a signal drop or fail to bind as I did with my old DX6i.Probably my biggest complaint is the way the thin bezels around the sticks feel. Kinda flimsy, thus the 4 star review.Battery life is great, and comfort is good for me, I don't need a strap.Navigation of the menus and setup has taken some getting used to for an old guy like me, but that is just the nature of things in this modern world.

For the extra $100 you get an extremely amount more with the nx8.. a cool color but it's a lot less strong
