Reliable power supply for HP laptops

Giving out 28v not 19.5v
Stopped charging laptop after a couple of days. Checked output and was a worrying 28v not the 19 5v. Needed it urgently for work on remote sites so ended up taking it apart to see if any voltage regulator or adjust.ent was possible.No adjustment of potentiometer I could see so scrapped it and had to order another one from different supplier. Hope this one is OK.
