It will be great for a lot of things. It’s bigger than I thought it was . So what I got it for want work. But it is well made and strong.

Use on boat to hold camera

Can't tighten enough to prevent umbrella tilting uncontrolled, can't position umbrella any way you want it, won't hold at an angle, only straight up, as if the sun is only at noon all day. Use in scissor lift, clamp grabs lift okay, but is too weak to do it's main job, hold the umbrella where I need to keep the sun and rain off me.Sell one I can tighten with a wrench and not break the plastic, that might work.

The clamp feels solid even though partially made of plastic. It works great for supporting an action camera stick on motorcycles. Used this to support a carbon fiber action selfie stick on a u bolt base mount. After riding around on some very bumpy roads, it kept the stick and camera stable. Feel very confident this will be solid for moderate to heavy off road riding. Great option and value since this can also be used for many other applications.
