It was unfortunate to not be able to choose the colors I wanted- sucks, but oh well. What really brought down the rating was the inside- it didn’t have the date line and other headnotes that were shown from the pictures, which was the reason why I bought it in the first place. Very disappointed, don’t think I’ll ever purchase their products again.Got two greens, two blue cover colors. The random bundles don’t have varieties of colors either.

Packaging is sealed, and sticker says college ruled.Product description says college ruled.Actual paper is wide ruled.Aside from that, the cover is nice, faux leather, embossed with "Our Aventure Book" and a stylized Earth.The pack had the correct number of books, and they were crisp, clean edges.It's perfect binding (glue), and the glue backing is thin, and no backing material. No signature binding. No stitching.So, basically, it's a glue-bound pad of paper, with very little glue, but a pretty cover.It looks nice on a shelf, but it will fall apart before you get to the end of the pages.

Oh, I thought these were just perfect. I want to use them for writing journals for plot outlines and character developments. The quality of these was more than I thought I would get. The four pack of colors sent to me were earth tones: dark green, navy blue, mustard yellow, and a grass green. The pages are lined with plenty of room for note taking. The added bonus for the leather bounding is that they are embossed with a tree and birds; something I found quite charming for these little journals. The imprint is harder to see on the darker colors but on the navy blue it pops! Beautiful. I would order these again even if I did get the same colors simply because of their size and quality.

I bought these because I liked the cover design and it said it has leather covers, but the quality of these journals was disappointing. I like the cover design, but that's about it. The covers are not leather as advertised and the cover material is very thin. The paper is also not good quality, thin with a lot of bleed through. I would not buy these again, you can get better quality journals for the same price or cheaper

I ordered this cute pack of journals as gifts for my D&D group, thinking it was a cute way for us to each take notes as we chronicled our way through "Our Adventure." The image shows this charming expression and the item description literally repeats the thematic use of the word "adventure" multiple times. What I received were not the journals I believed I was ordering.To be clear, the journals are lovely, lightweight and of moderate quality, with soft suede-like cover embossed with a raised design... of a tree. I ordered two bundles of the "random" colors hoping for some variety for my large group of players. I was mildly disappointed that both packs were identical in color scheme, but that was minor compared to my sadness at the altered cover design. It's too close to Christmas to make changes and I suppose these will do, but buyer beware: the items shipping out are not those pictured.

I purchased these journals for my mother in law, because she love to keep up with her expenses in these kinds of journals. The first thing I would point out is the design and feel of these journals, they feel high quality and look beautiful. These do come in a pack of four and the colors are random, but I was very pleased with what colors I got. The second thing is the size of these notebooks, they are perfect size to throw in your bag or to take to the beach with. The paper feels nice and makes writing very easy. I love these little notebooks, and I think they would make perfect gifts for teachers or someone traveling. The size as mentioned above is perfect for throwing in you luggage, and it is durable enough to stand up to travel. I also had no problem with shipment, I got the order fast and with no problems.

I do really like these journals the only down side is the colors. I realized I was taking a gamble but I was hoping for at least one or two fun colors. All of mine are brown, dark blue, black etc. I considered buying another set to see if I could get some of the brighter colors pictured but I'm not sure it's worth it. I will most likely still use them because the paper inside is nice and they are light weight and easy to carry around but won't be inclined to purchase again.

UPDATE: I am very happy to say that this company responded to my review. Customer service was great and they issued me a full refund because this is NOT what should have happened with the product. It is good to know that they take product quality seriously and want customers to be satisfied!____________________________________________I am beyond disappointed with these! The cover design is cute--but they are very thin and low-quality. The worst part, though, is that the journals SMELL TERRIBLE!! They smell like animal dung. I even tried airing them out for three days, but the smell remains. Now I am just throwing them in the trash.
