Umbrella stand
Surprisingly, I left my umbrella out, and we had a heavy storm last night and into my surprise my umbrella was still standing, which is more than I can say for the concrete type stands that I had before so far so good

A stable and affordable solution for outdoor umbrellas
I've been using this inground umbrella stand to anchor a beach umbrella near my backyard hammock, which was fun and novel until we realized that it has no shade. The stand is surprisingly stable once it's inserted into the ground, even in our drier soil. I followed another reviewer's tip and placed a piece of wood on top before hammering it in to ensure it would go down far enough to not be a tripping hazard. The stand has held the umbrella firmly in place, even during breezy conditions. I'm planning to leave it in the ground during the off-season and cover it with a wide PVC pipe, capped, to keep it from being a potential hazard to any kids playing nearby.I'm very happy with this inground solution, as it's both affordable and effective. It's a much better option than a traditional umbrella base that’s cumbersomely heavy and more expensive, especially for areas with limited space or uneven ground.

Solid & Sturdy Temporary Market Umbrella Anchor
This temporary in ground anchor for market umbrellas is very solid and sturdy. It is made of metal, assembly is easy, takes under 5 minutes to put together. The metal spikes that are the feet are long and tough. Important detail: check the soil before you push this stand into the ground. If you push it into compacted clay soil for example, you may have a lot of trouble getting it back out. It likes to bite the ground and hold on for dear life. That is a fantastic thing for an umbrella stand in general but as this is a temporary one that you can move around, it might not be so good. So check the soil before you push it in. I have a lot of this kind of soil around my home so I am carefully figuring out where I want to position this stand. I am going to use mine as a permanent thing in my garden, so once I push it into the ground I plan on leaving it there for the warmer months. It is a very solid and sturdy umbrella stand once it is securely pushed into the soil. You will be delighted by how stable it will keep your market umbrella. It also has 2 knobs on the side to provide additional support to securely hold your market umbrella in place and stop it from flying away. I am very pleased I was able to get this stand.

versatile and effective umbrella stand
I had ordered an outdoor umbrella but didn't have a stand for it. This one will work perfectly for my purpose as it can be pushed into the ground in the backyard for a stable stand. It did not come with any instructions but I was able to figure out how to put it together. They even included some little wrenches to help snug the screws in. I like that this can be left in place or pulled up and moved somewhere else or taken on the go. I was not successful in pushing it all the way in the ground here because the ground is so dry and hard right now and I couldn't get it to sink in. I will need to wet the ground some to soften or maybe get a hammer or mallet to pound it all the way down. There has been a really light breeze out there today and the umbrella is still standing strong even though I didn't get it all the way to the ground. I thought mine didn't come with the pvc tube on top of the stand that would fit my pole but I discovered they were nested together. I removed the smallest one and the next one fit my umbrella pole perfectly and the pole was held secure after tightening the screws. I love creating shade in the yard while it is so hot and am thankful for this helpful tool.

Easy to Assemble and Durable
I like that this include 3 pieces for different diameters of umbrellas. I use the middle one for my basic patio umbrella and it has a small gap but the screws hold it in place well. This is great for times when we want to have shade close to the play area in our yard but don't want to keep an umbrella out there daily due to high winds. It's easy enough to take in and out during play dates or parties or just weekends in the yard. Nice high quality and works well. Definitely Recommend.

Quick assembly and pretty sturdy
While the umbrella stand did not come with instructions it's pretty simple to figure out what goes where. One puzzle i had was does the large bolt go into the tube from the top or the bottom to tie the two metal pieces together? The answer is it goes in from the bottom. Quality is on part with the price tag of around $30 for this anchor. Metal spikes are very thick and once tightened down stay in place. If you end up with hard soil and notice you cant just push or stand on the achor. Take a piece of wood and put it on top of the pole (take out the plastic pieces first) and using a hammer strike the wood. This way you'll prevent damaging the metal pole by striking it directly with the hammer preventing bending of the pipe and chipping of the paint.

easy to assemble anchor
This was very easy to put together. How deep the stakes go depend on how hard the ground is where you are putting it. I have some ground clearance in my yard to where I still could go deeper, but not bad for the summer time. As the ground gets softer with rain, I could get the stakes to go in deeper.I like that you can use three sizes of umbrella pole with this. The fact that it anchors where you need it to works for me. I didn't see an paint come off as I banged away to get it to go into the ground in my backyard. Haven't gotten my umbrella in it yet but the anchor look very sturdy. I have winds going in my yard daily so time will tell soon enough.
