The vegan leather does feel good to the touch . . . much better than vinyl. The mat is large, easy to set up, and super helpful to have the tester to be sure the ground was active on the plug in. Thus no worries. Using the mat brings my wei qi (protective energy field) in close to the body which strengthens the protection.

My brother was telling me all about 'grounding'. I have to admit that I was skeptical. The item was shipped nicely and you could tell it wasn't a refurbished unit. I like how it comes with the ground tester. When I plugged it in and put my feet on it, I could feel a slight tingling from the soles of my feet up my calves. Not unpleasant but almost like your feet are a little bit "asleep". I grounded for 30 minutes and I'll be darn if my knee pain wasn't better. I didn't do anything different in my morning routine.Now, could it be the 'placebo effect'? Sure, maybe. But I know that I felt it working and my knees felt better after the session. If you live in the city and you aren't able to walk around barefoot outside, I highly recommend this unit.

Don't know how to check if it is working. Do I need to but a mat tester to be able to verify it is doing anything? The plug tester seems a bit wonky as the instructions say 3 yellow lights should illuminate but the 3 light is actually orange. Sent a query to company. If I do not hear back I may just have to return. Disappointed, as I( liked the design

I was able to get directions by scanning the QR Bar code on the side of the box.

I have a few grounding mats and this one stands out because of the vegan leather material. It makes it much easier to clean, simply wipe down as needed. It is the perfect size for placing on my desk. It sits halfway under my keyboard and mouse, allowing my forearms to rest on it during the work day. I use it to assist with wrist strain/circulation.

Once I used the mat my sleeping instantly improved! Never slept thru the night til I used this grounding mat! Seems to have helped my restless leg also!

Not sure yet of the benefits, but i tested and it does work as advertised.
