Works well for the Mistel Barocco split keyboard!
My use case is a bit different, so this review is partly to help others with the same problem and partly a review of the product itself.I ordered this to use as a longer sub for the cord that comes with the Mistel Barocco split keyboard. The one that comes with the keyboard is considerably shorter. This cord works well as long as the Host connector is connected to the left side. It will not work in reverse.The cord itself seems decently built; it's not too thin and not too bulky. The coiling is a good touch; the added compactness works great for travel. The connectors wobble a bit, while the OEM cord doesn't, but I suspect that's because they're a little longer than the OEM cord. It's not a deal breaker because it's not affected functionality. Overall, it's a cord that transmits data and power like it's supposed to.

Works as expected. I use this to connect my phone to a charging port on my electric bike. Coiled wire keeps it out of the way.

Looses connection frequently, cool idea but not practical.
This seems like a great idea, it looks cool. The problem is with materials and practicality. It is not pliable enough to be stretched out easily, or returned to shape. The wire is too stiff, it needs to be made of a softer material. This causes ALLOT OF PRESSURE to be placed on the USB plugs and ports. If you want to destroy your phones usb port thoroughly and quickly, then this will do it. The wire pulls tight so hard it will either yank the plug clean out or break it from side pressure. It's worthless stretched out because of the force it applies to the ports and it's impractical to be used retracted because it's bulkier than a regular short cord. I get constant disconnects and dropouts even when it is hanging loose, so I don't think the usb contacts make good connection. Basically, I'm saying just get yourself the correct length of regular style cable instead. A short regular cable takes up less room than this and a long regular cable wont yank on and break your usb port. If they can find a way to make the wire more easily pliable while still returning back to its original shape, then it will be a cool cable, but for now its not useful at all and a complete waste of money.

The outside casing chips away easy but the magnets are powerful.

Coiled Data & Charging Cable
I like that the cable is coiled. It is neater when connected. The coiled cable supports data transfer (Android Auto/Apple CarPlay) and charging. Good value. The 1.4-4' was rught for connecting my phone to the charger under my head unit.The Cable Creation cable performs as expected. I would recommend it.
