This drain stopper works as I had hoped to enable me to do dishes. The water does drain out a little slower with this in the open position, but not anything bothersome at all.

I recently moved and no longer have a garbage disposal. While the strainer that comes with the sink is fine, it doesn’t catch everything. I like this because you can easily pop out things that accumulate, it works better.

As we have no disposal, it's important that we have something that can keep stuff from going down the drain. We've tried a bunch, but these work best for us. I knocked a star off as they only last a year or so but aside from that they do the job.

I found these years ago perhaps at a HomeGoods. Haven’t been able to find them, but I found them on Amazon and re-ordered them because mine were old. I put them in the dishwasher weekly to get them really clean and after about 10 years, it was time to change!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sink strainer. It fits my drain perfectly and plugs the whole to fill up the sink when needed. Its super easy to clean and im able to get it to stick to the side wall of my sink when needed. The strainer is well made and super convenient i even bought an extra for the other side of my sink as well as one for my mom to try out. As long as this item is available to buy i will continue to use it.

I bought this to use as a strainer and a drain plug. When you put anything in the sink it pushes it down and it opens up and drains. It does not work to plug the sink as it just keeps popping down and unplugging. It is not easy to use as a strainer because if you pick it up, the food all falls out into the sink. I am throwing it away and buying another brand.

Nice looking - but, it drains slowly. If I'm running water at a good force, it starts to fill up and if there's a little bit of food in the bottom of the drain from tiny scraps of food, that dirty water rushes back up into the sink, getting any clean dishes I have in the sink (ready to be rinsed) - so they sorta get dirty again from the food pieces (TINY pieces). They should have made the bottom row of holes a little bigger - which I might do. Also, when you DO want it to stop draining bec. you're filling up the sink, you need to remove the strainer, flip it over and "pop up" the apparatus so that it is now flush with the sink with its rim and not depressed down - a bother. Would have been nice to just have to press the S/S disk you see in the pic to make it pop up, but that's not the way it works. Nice concept, poorly designed.

Be careful not to poke w utensils can tear . Now all we need is o e easier to clean but never are. Great item!
