I play with this device daily so that says a lot. I mainly play silent hill 1 through 4 which is awesome! I ended up using the rg launcher frontend with a different theme and it works just fine..

You are paying a bit of a premium buying here compared to the manufacturer, but it comes faster and you have more protection from issues.My rg406v runs great. I am in love with this device. Runs most ps2 and lower great. The card it comes with is a little janky in terms of game label but still not bad. Ready for the most part right out of the box.Edit: my right stick failed after 2 months. Whether a fluke or not this was distressing and the seller was no help. For this reason I am changing my rating.

Another winner from Anbernic. I have quite a few of their handhelds and this on is at the top of the scales as far as emulating more advanced systems. Anything up to PS1 runs without question. I have tried multiple Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, GameCube and PSP title with quite a bit of success.The dual boot nature of this handheld ,with their own Linux based OS and an Android option, open up lots of options for you and lets you customize the emulators to your exact preferences. The screen is gorgeous and vibrant, no light bleed issues with my unit at all. Touch screen is responsive and easy to navigate in Android mode. The dual analog sticks feel similar to what you would find on the Switch and feel good with no tracking issues. Buttons are firm but not overly clicky and feel good in the hands, same goes for the all important D-pad.Battery life varies depending on what you are emulating and screen brightness settings, but in my testing offers plenty of play time away from a charger. I have larger than average hands the the overall size of this unit aid in comfort for longer playing sessions. While my personally choice would be a horizontal unit, this vertical orientation works well for me.Overall this is a fantastic higher end device that can play a plethora of classic favorites and should tide you over until the Switch 2 finally graces our prescence.

Rg406vThis is the best from anbernic besides the rg405m. Now if they will re-release the rg556 with these sticks it would be the best. There was a broken piece of plastic that was loose inside so I had to open the device. It was the plastic holding wires from battery snug.
