Great non-permanent dye
I used the dark brown colour and I really like the results. My hair was a medium/light faded red brown (no grey). Now it is a rich dark chocolatey brown (with undertones of red).My method:1. I washed my hair the night before (no silicone or conditioner afterwards, which can block the colour uptake)2. In the morning I lightly sprayed with water then applied.3. I left it on for 1 hour and used a bag over my head whilst I left it, the heat from the head can help colours develop.4. I rinsed for ages, washed it with a non-sls shampoo, rinsed again, left conditioner in for 20 mins. Conditioner helps to seal it. I haven’t had any colour come off onto my pillows or clothes.5. I did the final rinse in the shower, rinsing the conditioner off.The results are rich and dark, and shiny! Very gentle on my scalp too. I don’t mind how long it lasts, my hair is happier for it. Permanent dyes have made my hair super dry lately!

Strong chemical smell and no results
Misleading title: this is NOT a henna cream. And it is done intentionally: I tried to find information about the contents, but it's not given anywhere, not even on the packaging. When you open there is a strong chemical smell and according the instructions you should keep it on only 30-40 mins. Henna you need to keep a few hours. Results: I have a red forehead now, but my hair is pretty much the same colour.Waste of time and money!

Lovely colour and condition but doesn’t last long
I loved the smell, the little charcoal shampoo sachet and how it conditioned my hair. The end result was natural looking and healthy, but lasted only a week even though I shampoo about 3 times a week only. Perfect if I didn’t have to buy so many and spend less time-recolouring my hair!

Nice but doesn’t last long
I am Ken’s wife(Ken’s lacking in the hair department)!I’ve used this before as I’m allergic to PTD/PPD in permanent hair dyes and this doesn’t contain either. It smells nice and leaves the hair very shiny but it doesn’t last long. This is not meant to cover grey it will just give it a slight “wash” of colour and maybe blend in a small amount of grey hair and this is what it does for mine which is about 15 percent grey. You can apply heat to your hair once it is covered in clingfilm or plastic bag, by using hair dryer and this will help the colour to take as peroxide free hair dye needs warmth to take properly. I would use this for a special occasion as it probably only lasts maybe 6 to 8 washes max on my hair. If your hair is previously dyed or bleached it may last a bit longer. It’s also worth pointing out that it washes off the grey quicker so if this is what you’re using it for it’s not ideal. Definitely doesn’t damage hair at all.

Easy to use, great product.
I thought I would try this rather than using Hemma powder which takes forever timewise. Really pleased with the results and the colour lasts.

Good Colour and Ease of use
Repeat user. Instructions on inside of box. Easy to use and apply at home. I still carry out skin test prior to use. Gentle on scalp (though I do use a pre scalp conditioner) and have not had any issues.

Doesn't really do much
My usual henna power was out of stock thus was offered as an alternative and as I just needed a root touch up I thought this premix would be OK. On the plus side it's easy to use, smells nice (unlike usual henna!) and has left my hair in lovely condition but sadly it didn't really colour my (white) roots...reminded me of a tube of 'harmony' in the 80s. 😕
